A concert that has been long awaited by the fans of K-pop is now available in Jakarta! Promoted by Asia Top Entertainment and supported by Live Motion Pictures (South Korea) and Marygops Studios (Indonesia) cooperate to hold the largest concert collaboration K-pop in Indonesia. “KBS Music Bank World Tour in Jakarta” on March 9, 2013 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta. KBS Music Bank World Tour in Jakarta is a special concert that will bring together eight leading K-pop idols like Super Junior, SHINee, 2PM, Beast, Infinite, Sistar, Teen Top and Eru. Besides features the magnificent performances of Korean top stars, this concert also celebrate 40 years of diplomatic relations of Indonesia and South Korea. Surely Music Bank World Tour in Jakarta will be presenting a different concept of K-pop concerts in general.
Music Bank is a Korean music weekly program of KBS television station in Korea. Impressions of Music Bank broadcasted live to 72 countries around the world through KBS World channel. Music Bank has become one of benchmark the popularity of K-pop artists with the presence of its weekly charts. It also can be said the Music Bank gives the influence for the spread of Hallyu in the world.
In 2011 Music Bank spread its wings by making a world tour concert titled Music Bank World Tour. The purpose of this concert was made as an attempt to bring closer the KBS with Korean music fans outside South Korea. Since then Music Bank World Tour has been successfully held concert in Japan, France, Hong Kong and Chile. Jakarta will be the fifth stop of the series of Music Bank World Tour.
“One of the most important parts of this Music Bank is to celebrate the 40 years diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Korea, for that Music Bank will feature representatives of the most popular Indonesian starts as well as in the implementation of the event, the MC will be from Indonesia and Korea, but for detail and creative as to what we are discussing with the management of KBS” said Dina Kim as CEO of Asia Top Entertainment (ATE).
“Our show is different because we want to involve the fans idea on this concert. We open the suggestion from fans and create special K-pop concert that never happened before in Indonesia,” said Dan Kim as the CEO of Live Motion Pictures (LMP).
“This Music Bank concert will be a big music event in Indonesia, 8 great stars will be present here and of course the fans of K-pop idol would love to see the stars present in Jakarta, we chose a great venue for this Music Bank, GBK is the right place to organize the Music Bank,” said Peter Harjani as the Creative Director of Marygops Studios.
